Before I convert my Karma to DelegateCoin, where are my DelegateCoins stored?

See title. I'm interested in where the system is storing my DelegateCoins before I convert my Karma into them.

What actually happens, technically, when I convert my Karma into DCs?

I found two good answers on this website:

  1. Karma
"How much karma you have is a sum of all the upvotes and downvotes you received.
Delegatecall tokens are distributed as the blocks are processed every 24 hours. The amount you receive is how much karma you earned in the time window in proportion to how much karma all users generated in the same time window.
For example, if no one earned any karma and you receive 1 upvote then you get all the tokens for this 24 hours. Conversely, if you received 1000 upvotes but total site activity is one million then you only get 1/1000 of the tokens."

  2. Delegatecall tokens
Delegate tokens are inflationary. There are 1 billion initial tokens. The inflation rate is 10% for the first year, and one less percent per year, up to the tenth year. That is, year one = 10%, year two = 9%, year three = 8% ... year ten = 1%.

DelegateCall tokens aren't converted from Karma, you earn DCT corresponding to the proportion of Karma you earned in relation to the whole userbase of the platform. DelegateCall tokens are inflationary, a certain amount are minted daily.

You don't actually convert karma in to DC's you just get DC's based on the karma you've earned that day. The convert feature is used to send them to your metamask wallet and requires that you hold atleast one loom token in it to make the transfer. Once there DC's are like any other erc20 token.
