How about a Dapp for sceince fiction authors?

I write sceince fiction and techno-thriller novels (facebook/brokensymmetrypublishing)and I'm looking for a way out from the overwhelming Amazon/Kindle/Audible umbrella. How about a serializing Dapp that rewards readers with prizes such as free installments and allows them to rate each installment with up to 5 stars? Authors collect coin in proportion to their ratings and readers collect coin for being among the first 50 reviewers.

This sounds like a great application for Loom's SDK, but this is more of a pitch than a question that needs answered.

This could also have a token curated registry to ensure the quality of content published on the platform is maintained. Authors submit work that they have staked tokens in, and the community votes on it. If accepted, the author receives their staked tokens back and get their work published. If the community votes not to publish the work, the author looses their stake, which is distributed among the voters. District0x may be a good platform for the governance of this content, but I don't know first hand how well Loom and District0x would play together.

Token curated registry simply institutionalizes big publishers, who can put up more tokens more often. I would propose a free entry but with each sale paying a token toward that author's reputation. These "reputation tokens" would be equivalent to reviews.
Even this has it's problems. Romance and YA books sell more than my SF genre. My successful books would never get into the top ten reputation token list.
