As far as I know you can't stake Loom stakes as of now. But here are some future stake cases:
1) You can stake them if you are a developer but it's more like locking as a security. You won't get dividends from it.
2) You can stake tokens if you are a node validator, positions for which will open in near future. But you will have to stake around 100,000 Loom tokens.
3) You can stake your loom tokens in the upcoming game called Zombie battleground, which will give you free cards and stuff.

There is no staking. DPOS does not inherently require staking, right now DAppchains have no staking or voting for validators.

Yes, currently there is no staking.

However, in the future, developers will need to stake at least 10 LOOM tokens in order to deploy a DApp to ZombieChain.

Once ZombieChain will be released, Loom is going to run the validators. But, they plan to allow other parties who hold a sufficient number of LOOM tokens to run validators to increase the decentralization of the network.
