I am just curious about why DC is actually called DC, and what everyone thinks of the name in general.

If any of the team can answer I'd appreciate!

I think there are three reasons

  • delegatecall dappchain used delegate proof of work consensus algorithm
  • loom provide the change for ethereum to delegate the something to the dappchain,
  • the delegatecall is the first dapp used loom sdk
So it's called Delegate Call

Hi,

In programming, delegating a call means to call another service. Loom uses this analogy to explain the goal of this website. When you are stuck on a problem related to blockchain, Solidity or Loom SDK, you can delegate the problem to this site and most probably someone will help.

Hope it helps.
Thank you.
